B5's a classic, some of the acting is a bit hammy, and as you say, the CGI is clearly old (Done on Amiga's back in the day) but the overall story is spot on..

Finally started watching For All Mankind, was not disappointed. Picking up in 1969, in an alternate timeline where the Soviets beat America to the moon. Which then propagates a deeper cold war / space race (ergo more funding to NASA), resulting in permanent bases on the moon, by both the Soviets and the Americans in the mid-70s.

Superb attention to detail and production values and some really tense scenes - events diverge from our own timeline, with the show currently in the early/mid 80s where I'm at. Historical events unfold differently from our timeline in the 15 years it has covered.

It's a mix of hard science / space action and character dramas on the grond - but it all ties together nicely and is a solid 8/10 from me. If you like The Expanse then you'll probably enjoy attention to detail in this

Edit: Just finished watching season 2. Damn, the final episode was one of the best episodes of TV I've seen, absolutely thrilling.

Season 1 is a 8/10
Season 2 is a solid 9.5/10

Season 3 can't come soon enough, which looks like it's going to time jump to 1995. It's a shame it's not on a larger platform such as Netflix as it deserves much more attention than it's getting. The IMDB score doesn't do it justice in my opinion.

Have that on box set too, and enjoyed it. Next, though, I'm trying to decide between The Wire and The Sopranos. I watched both some years back, but I'm due a re-run.

Missions, a French sci-fi show. Not really sure what to make of it and I'm nearly finished. It has a really good soundtrack, though.

The Crown. It's a Netflix show about the life of Queen Elizabeth II. I'm fascinated by British history, so I love watching shows like this one that dives into the details of what life was like for royals and commoners alike.

Love the Expanse, Discovery is really trying my patience though. Each series comes up with more and more contrived ways to make Burnham the Chosen One who can solve everything.
