I've been really enjoying Better Call Saul the past few weeks, excellent TV.
Or, leave you hanging at the end of the season to give a hook into a new season, which they then don't bother making. That's one reason why I record TV progs, season at a time, and only with a whole season do I bother watching any. The other, and primary, reason of course, is to delete the damned adverts.
Theres one thing worse than adverts, and that's the now common practice of making the adverts louder than the bloody program you are trying to watch...
And to top it off they are consulting on more and longer adverts.
The Ring of Power absolute brilliant and loving it.
Wish I felt the same way, today's episode was an improvement as we finally got some action but the writing is poor and the casting is not ideal (and no I'm not talking about the diversity choises that have been made, I'm fine with that) but rather for example Galadriel is completely miscast or misdirected, not sure which.
I started watching power Ring of Power and the new game of thrones.
Didn't like ring of power to start with and preferred thrones, now its the other way round
The Critical Drinker has summed up my feelings for RoP perfectly...

Still watching, but not sure why...
He’s not wrong and funny as Fock as usual.
“Go away now”
Blimey, maybe give that a pass then. I wish they'd decouple prime delivery from the streaming, one is useful and the other is apparently a big pile of...
If you like your crime dramas I stumbled upon The Capture on iplayer, 2 episodes in and it's very watchable and quite entertaining. Nice unexpected cliff hanger at the end of 2.

Yeah the Capture is good entertaining nonsense. Season 1 is just about believable but season 2 gets into the realms of the ridiculous. Holly Grainger is on top form.
Yes Minister, got it on DVD. For some reason seems more apt today than it did back when it was made!
I have found after many years of wondering what that weird programme I watched as a kid was. Does anyone remember the family that goes into the pyramid and enters a different dimension in the 80's? For years it bugged me and finally found it :
