What Is Your Favourite Cartoon?

• Axe Cop: Just started watching this today so far soo good

I seem to watch loads of cartoons with the kids right now. Got them into the Ghost buster cartoon series. Awesome.

Looney Tunes Show.

Happy when the kids have Tom & Jerry on, anything Ardman, and Spongebob is funny. I also like going down memory lane with alot of the toy tie-in cartoons of my youth (Thunderbirds, Transformers) though it doesnt all hold up well.

Penguins of Madagascar and Shaun the Sheep are totally hilarious.

Star Wars The Clone Wars was very good. The new Star Wars Rebels is nothing special thus far, but I do have hopes for the story to improve dramatically now that Ahsoka Tano is in it.

Anything Batman, old or new.

Dungeons and Dragons. But lately it's been Octonauts, Abnie and Teal and other CBeebies stuff...

Been working through the clone wars with my son but we moved and he's had some time to himself and has just blasted through them.

Abnie and Teal... my boy loves it but smudgers teasing.

Octonauts IS good.

Really got into Family guy & American Dad for the late night TV.

Adventure Time is one of the most stark, brutal post-apocalyptic shows on TV. Can't get enough.

Fellow dad then. Its required watching with a little one. Octonauts is actually pretty good (almost a simplistic star trek but with fish instead of aliens). Can't stand most of the rest of cbeebies but its far better than the junk the niece and nephew watch on disney channel (something I refuse to pay for) - Princess sofia - Gosh thats awful!

Personally I love most cartoons and found pokemon on netflix ideal for watching while up feeding the newborn at 3 in the morning. Simple and short enough for the job. Tried to get into avatar but couldn't. Iron man on netflix was ok but didn't seem to make sense between seasons. Keep hearing good things about cowboy beebop but don't have netflix currently...

the books however are to be AVOIDED... DULL!

I like Octonasuts - Creature Reports on telly ... but 7 year old's - in- the- know say they're too short and have no story ;)

My 5 year old is currently voraciously consuming Transformers Prime, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the 2012 version), Batman : The Brave & the Bold, LEGO Ninjago/Chima/Star Wars & (curiously) The Raccoons (I found the S1 DVD in the attic and he likes it).

Ofc, I happily sit with him and watch them! :p

And peppa bloody pig, well I thought my 5 year old had outgrown Peppa, but now my 9 month son giggles every time the music comes on so I am forced to sit through it all again. I know the words off by heart to every episode :(

The downside to giving up a perfectly good job to become a full time stay at home Dad.

it's definitely fun for kids ;)


other than south park, family guy, American dad occasionally before bed, cant remember any other cartoons because its been at least 2 decades since I used to watch them.

Horrified - not one mention of Roadrunner, so funny and so inventive.

I'm not sure, I'm torn between Tom&Jerry and Dexter's Lab!

Always enjoyed Dexter a ton, specially the "Justice Friends" episodes :D

Tom and Jerry is a classic,

But no one has mentioned Wallace and Gromit, although strictly they are animations rather than cartoons.

But the daddy of them all, Mickey Mouse!

This is cbbc i guess. Coz i also some time watch it with little sisters lol

Same here my sis watch it all the time, and

pig jumping on muddy paddles and way the snort is soo funny especially when dady pig does it.

Top picks for me would be Adventure Time, South Park and Pokemon. They say I can grow old, but whether I'll grow up is a different matter entirely.

I forgot about that show. i agree, modern cartoons are terrible. i am getting my kids watching all the ones from my youth like The Real Ghostbusters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Adventure Time and Archer for me, they both rock.

I like the Cartoon Network stuff from late 90's and early 2000.

Stuff like :

Cow & Chicken
Courage the Cowardly Dog
Johnny Bravo

Also love the Nickelodeon stuff :

Rugrats

Disney stuff like Phinneas & Furb is really funny but I do love Recess and Lloyd in Space
