Screen went black!
I was watching tv with my friends and the screen slowly went black. I'd say it took at least 5 minutes for the screen to completely go out then it shut off. Now that I have it on I only get partial screen. It is a 32" LF320EM4 A. Is this a simple fix? Like something that CAN be achieved or is it doomed

Re: Screen went black!
Sounds like a new tv to me.

Re: Screen went black!
It sounds like a hardware fault, so I can't imagine you can fix it easily. Obviously try changing the cables and devices to be sure that something other than the TV itself isn't causing the problem.

Re: Screen went black!
Possibly inverter, get a very bright torch and in a pitch black room shine the torch at a very acute angle with the torch right up against the screen.
Have something like a movie playing so you can see movement.
If you see nothing I would say bad capacitors.
Stick it on eBay people often buy broken tv's like this as it is reasonably easy to fix.

Yeah, could be the inverter board or the backlight has gone. You can get the parts and do the fix yourself, most cases with stuff like this the connectors are similar to what you would find in a PC, no soldering required.
