Stop trying to be Jezza
So they did actually pick someone who auditioned?
Lineup isn't looking great in my opinion, I think on the whole there is a severe lack of personality. And there's far too many of them! (unless the format has drastically changed)
Who is Chris Harris? TG.com is blocked at work..
Chris Harris is a very well respected motoring journalist, he has written for Autocar and a host of other publications, he is a presenter on /drive and has his own youtube 'Chris Harris on cars' along with Sabine they are the two stand out presenters.

Surprised we hadn't got a thread on this.

I'm just amazed they didn't cast Stig in a wheelchair just to have ticked all boxes.
One of the things that worked was the behaviour between the three co-hosts and the silent 4th. This just won't scale out to 7 people.
I think it might work. I can see what they're doing here, completely changing the format so comparisons are a bit moot. This way, there won't be accusations of trying (and failing) to copy the previous format. Like the jump from old Top Gear (with beards) to new (old now) Top Gear (with middle aged men larking about).
it has - here
Agreed that they are well respected but the format of the show is going to need to change drastically to suit all the different personalities here and none are like what has gone before. Going to be interesting to see how this pans out.
*Edit* Actually I enjoyed that Rory Reid video, he could be a really interesting addition to show. :)
*Edit 2* Missed Eddie Jordan's name on the list.........Oh dear God save us from this self aggrandising door knob. He was the worst part of BBC's F1 coverage (but could ask difficult questions sometimes) and I doubt he'll be any better on TG.
Ah hidden away in the correct sub-forum :)
Didn't he used to do stuff for Piston Heads or is that another Chris Harris?
No I think he did do some stuff for them.
Threads merged. :)
Nice to see a couple of motoring journo's added and Sabine. Was starting to worry it would just be Joey and random TV presenters.
I had a very quick chat with Chris Harris in the Porsche support race pits at Le Mans in 2014 and he seemed a very nice and genuine guy, shame he got punted off. Where as my mate got 3rd in class :D
Some images in this article were quite funny :- http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-35549427
