I watched it at the weekend and while I did on-the-whole enjoy it, I thought the jab at formulaic cast line-ups at the beginning (which it then did itself) and the mentioning of other Marvell films really wasn't needed....as much as this was a comedy, there was still a level of suspense of belief that was stomped all over a few times (which is a real pet peeve of mine!).

Me + Mrs watched this last night. The background story was well told, but the bad guy wasn't big/powerful enough for my liking, and I was expecting massive overblown battles every 5 minutes, but there was a lot less than the trailers led me to expect. Appreciated the more mature content, was odd for a Marvel film.
Some very funny spots, I'd give it a 7/10
It's not a Marvel film
Fox owns the film rights for X-men and mutant related heroes / villains (though there is some overlap with Marvel e.g Quicksilver & Scarlett Witch). They also have Fantastic 4, but we won't talk about that as those films never happened. That being said there are now rumours that we may get a Marvel / Fox crossover in a similar fashion to Marvel / Sony and Spiderman.

The guy was a joke. A joke with a very nice... lady by his side!
Loved the movie and the humor! Though it was mostly a comedy instead of action.
Great movie! Really hope there is a sequel, I haven't laughed so much in ages, I have watched it twice now and is defiantly in my top 10 movie list!
