John Wick - Keanu Reeves

now THIS is worth WAAAY more than IMDB's 7.2

I'd go so far as an 8.5/10 in all honesty.

Keanu... who I don't rate at all in honesty, in a film I'd never heard of..... until Serious Sam bought it round to my gaff to watch last week.

Seriously..... this grabbed me by the throat in minutes and I was glued to it.

Really enjoyed it.

No spoilers.... Keanu is a quiet dude, doing his own thing, driving his lovely car when at a fuel station someone tries to buy his car from him and he says no.

simple.. drove off.

story unfolds.....they do want his car and they're prepared to hurt him and possibly.. he's not the right man to do that too.

it's NOT "Taken"

it's waaay better.

Totally unnecessarily violent.... And flippin brilliant it is too!

I watched some Youtube clips of Keanu practicing too... he got quite fast with his gun changes :)

Also quite funny I thought. Just killed three guys with a pencil. Oh - and that guy who comes round to tdo the clean up !

Great film and heard that he did all his own stunts in it, which is pretty impressive for a guy his age.

This one flew under the radar a bit really but I have to agree, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Deliciously outrageous and violent... kinda like Banshee in that way.

Agreed brilliant movie. Proper old fashioned unashamed action movie. I though we did well for action movies last year give The Equalizer and American Ultra a look too. Enjoyed both of them.

I'm sure theres a John Wick II in progress?

It was better than I expected, for a popcorn flick.

This was a total shocker for me, especially as I ended up watching it before it even had an IMDB entry and no-one knew what it was!

Great film, really over the top, can't wait for John Wick 2!

Keenu's back.

Had this on import before it was released over here because one of the guys I do Jujitsu with gave it a strong recommendation. In a nutshell the way he fights in John Wick is pretty much what we do, only without the guns. It's literally a run through of our syllabus. :D Loved it, looking forward to the sequel.

Watched this a few months ago, can't wait for John Wick 2 and now i'm going to watch it again just because of everyone saying how good it is :D.

Great film. No need for a fussy overcomplicated plot just balls out action from start to finish. Highly entertaining
