.....if you're resilient and strong and ready to chance your arm against your own emotions....
may I suggest The Impossible
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1649419/
It's not the finest film ever made:
Ewan McGregor is frankly a bit rubbish at times
Naomi Watts is brilliant in most parts.
the kids act well. Good camera work too.
but the overall volume of tears I shed, the blubbing, and uncontrollable wracking of my body as I tried to stop sobbing in pity and joy, frankly nearly set off a Tsunami in my home town
I'll not watch THAT again,,....not for a v long time
but could I push pause or stop it... ?
could I ballcocks... I was emotionally glued to the damn film
Not sure how it would effect non-parents so unable to rate it overall
but for me... I'm really REALLY glad I've seen it!
