Recently stumbled across "Carrier Pilot" by Lt Cdr N Hanson RNVR. Billed as one of the finest accounts of life on a Carrier during wartime, it is a fascinating and riveting read.
It follows his wartime career from being selected for flying training in the US through to the end of HMS Victorious's commission in the Pacific.
Available as a Kindle edition as well as in print, I reccommend it to anyone interested in real life accounts of life of the second World War.
