No, not a sequel to 'Lost', though there may be some overlap in fanbase.
A remake of an iconic 60s show that came out roughly the same time as the original Star Trek; in terms of style, it was like a family crossover between Star Trek and the Adam West Batman. Faintly ridiculous and camp, certainly by modern mores.
Four episodes into this version (available on Netflix in 4k whoop whoop) and it's holding my attention, which not much does these days. Very strong production values, pretty good SFX, acting/directing is just 'good enough' (the roles don't seem to call for any heavy-duty 'acting'); storyline is the weakest aspect but it is what it is, that's more of a personal preference. Lots of obvious plotholes and 'that would never happen because of XYZ' etc but it's all forgivable, imo, as long as everything else is up to scratch, which it seems to be. Decent 7.5/10 but still hopefully Netflix buy up Expanse and that can keep on going.
