    Yes, all of that. But vinyl still sounds nicer than CD

    Perception bias! . (and nothing wrong with that).

    There are er... 'sound' reasons why valve amplifiers used to sound better than their solid state equivalents because they used a push pull output stage feeding an impedance matching transformer which filters out even order harmonics which sound unpleasant to our ears, while leaving odd order which sound better.

    I'm not sure that is still true with modern solid state designs though which can have outstanding performance.
