Was it any good, or still the same drivel as last series?

I thought it was good, threat level was quite high, a few surprises...
Definitely watching Sunday....

It started off well but the ending in my opinion was a bit naff. The big "reveal" was a bit meh, really think they cast the wrong person there but you never know.
As for the general overall feel, it does feel improved so far. Will see how the series pans out but willing to give it a go
Lenny Henry was a suprise to see but think he did a good job.

Still as naff as previously, mostly on account of them somehow keeping Chris Chibnall on staff for writing episodes, despite his complete lack of understanding of the Dr Who universe - I will never forgive him for "Resolution" and how badly he screwed up the Dalek lore. He screwed up so badly there to the point we have to consider the entire series a non canon dead timeline..
That said however, Jodie did a good job and seems have relaxed into the role a bit more, which is great. I'm curious to see how the non Chibnall episodes pan out this season. They really need to fire that idiot and get someone in who has actually sat and watched the original series.
Have it recorded but not yet watched it. Then again, I stilll havent summoned up the energy to watch the second half of the last series either. Not a Jodie fan ... or rather, not in this role.
A lesson learned from PeterB about dignity in adversity, so Peter, In Memorium, "Onwards and Upwards".
Hmm well it was ok, looks like they are keeping the trend of teaching us things, though not sure what we will learn from the Cybermen yet
I won't post spoilers but could have been an interesting storyline trying to work out who destroyed you know what until we were told by you know who that they did it. Unless they were lying

I didn't like Capalidi's first series though, or Matt Smith much for that matter. I'm sure she can do the role justice, but worry that Chris Chibnall will keep giving her tripe to work with.
So there should have been an episode on Sunday, so now I'm two episodes behind
It was OK, but seemed very toned down from previous hyper-Doctor episodes. Seemed like there was a touch of older Dr Who in there, but still with the modern guff layered over the top.
At this point it's basically the Bradley Walsh show, with some PC box ticking, framed by a Doctor Who episode.

Indeed, this week we learned about climate change.
I hear next week the cybermen are going to teach us about recycling

Well I fear I was almost correct in my assumption a couple of weeks ago. Tonight's episode was just cringeworthy. Tonight was about plastic pollution, honestly, might not bother watching anymore for a while.

Well, I'm a bit caught up .... the Christmas special is next.
As for Jodie, the last few I've seen (coincidentally .... or not .... not by Chibnall) do seem better. It's like she's starting to imprint her personality on the role.
Her it's her settling in, or the writer-influence? Dunno.
Quite likd Matt Smith, and Tennant. Never entirely happy with Capaldi.
I guess it just shows that even for the same show, we all like different things.

I'm still well behind on these episodes having only watched the two Spyfall ones so far.
I did have a play of the recently released VR game though. Was fun, and definitely worth the price of free (I found it on Steam). More of an interactive experience than a game, but you get to play with a sonic
This week was mental health with a bit of sci fi thrown in.
