Well well - well well well.
Didn't expect to be giving this a 9/10 but .... well it's definately that good. Better in places
I purchased the Bluray knowing I would have to own it even if it was truly dire and appaling!

Before that I got the film, I purchesed the CD sound track which is a superb way to be introduced to the fim before seeing it. In facyI Heartily recommend that as the route to approach it, if you have the funds
CD sound trrack first, multiple listens.... and then film

And now I have seen it twice and both times... I would change nothing. Every tiny fragment of CGI to every nuance of student fellowship, every use of a name or a dropped hint on a future story.

Utterly compelling. I tell you how I know - because I could easily watch it again immediatelty it's finished. Very very few films do that for me

(It only loses a single point out of ten because it's not quite Shawshank class. Cant be can it? Few things are a 10 in life)

but given the chance... It's a 9.5/10
