    Everything, everywhere, all at once

OMG. What a film. I can't remember the last time I have laughed out loud so hard.

Yeah watched this a while back, wasn't as bad as I was expecting tbh, got a bit of The One vibe from it..

I don't want to be that guy but I thought it was terrible :/
I think I rated it 5/10 on IMDB after I watched it, just didn't click with me. Seems a very marmite film.

Don't worry, you're not the only one...I thought it was awful too. There were a few scenes that I just thought...really??! Don't wish to spoil it, but the humour seemed to be aimed at teenagers rather than...errm...50 somethings like me.

I didn't think many teenagers would have seen the films it references for the humour? (Could be the things I found hilarious are somewhat different to what a teenager finds hilarious mind).

Looks a bit loopy and surreal, if I'm honest... Which I can appreciate, yet tend not to enjoy. eXistenz was a bit like that.

Started it for an attempt at a date night. The wee man inevitably had a bad night. We'll finish it later hopefully.

Re: Everything, everywhere, all at once

Thought it was a good watchable film, funny in parts.
Interesting ideas I've not seen explored in a comedy. I like Jamie Lee Curtis' character in the parrallels.

A little bit like The Butterfly Effect

    A 6 from me.

I think the only film I've seen Ke Huy Quan in as an adult.

Is that the guy from temple of Doom? It's suddenly just clicked.

I didn't like it tbh. I'm not sure if it was having the constant interruptions from the screaming wee one or the plot itself but I found myself glad when it ended and not particularly engaged with it.

Yep. There's a point where he says 'Very funny' (or 'not funny', can't remember) in exactly the same voice.
