Completely immune to scary films
Completely immune to scary films
Scary films = don't sleep = don't watch.
Don't mind blood and guts though, just not creepy.
Unfortunately I don't think I've ever experienced a "Scary" film. Either the films is too old and cheesy to be scary or newer ones such as Saw and Human Centipede and others are just so awful to be taken seriously let alone scary.![]()
The Japanese and South Koreans make some of the best if not the best horror films imho.
i begin to get creeps when i hear the sounds in scary movies.
Love them. Although I find it hard to find good horror movies these days. I did find The Possesion of Michael King (sp?) quite good which was a surprise as I hadnt heard of it before
Depends entirely on my mood. As the son of a surgeon real gore and discussion thereon were normal when I was a kid - and the real autopsy vhs I saw when a teenager was simply fascinating. Consequently, for me scary equals mood, risk and circumstance (and so subjective to the way I feel) whereas gore is usually just funny.
I either love or hate scary films. It truly depends on the quality of the film though. I agree that Japanese movies are the scariest as well.

i neither like or dislike it. But I don't dare to watch scary movies and listen to the background sound.
I am mostly immune although still watch a lot on the off-chance it may be good. I ALWAYS watch "scary" films at night, in the dark with the sound up and preferably on my own - if anyone is watching with me, they must keep quiet!
Last one I watched that got me was the Babadook which had the hairs on the back of my neck standing up. Apart from that only Asian films like Shutter, Dark Water and Thirteen Steps have had me on the edge of my seat. Hollywood cannot make a scary film to save their lives.
