Das Boot
Lock Stock, Snatch (but not layer cake)
The Lord of the rings trilogy, has to be the best book to film convirsion for ages, and there great films.
28 Days later.
Apocalypse Now is brilliant.
The best film ever has to be something epic.

I always watch this when I feel bored, fedup and a bit low. This is great for reminding you that there are thoses out there that are worse off than you.Originally Posted by Allen

Goodfellas
Jerry Maguire
Ice Cold in Alex
Raiders of the lost Ark
along the same lines as Ronin.. Heat is good... running firefight through some big american city.. think it's LA... fantastic screen play... and it's got Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro in it too.

The Goonies was such a good movie. I must've watched it like 10 times when i was a kid.
Star Wars original trilogy would be my favourite
Goodfellas.
Saving Private Ryan.
Casino.
Aliens.
Bow down before them.
I'm hoping to add Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy to that list
The trailer looks Soooooooo good.
La Haine

why oh why would anyone consider saving ryan's privates to be in thier all time fav's?
I can appreciate the first half hour is probably one of the best, if not the best piece of cinematography of world war II re-enacted. its horrific, so much so even I felt nausious at watching it, quite emotional bit of work there. but - unfortunately - the rest of the film somewhat lets the begining down. I'd give it 11/10 for the start, right up there with the start of star wars (a new hope) but star wars keeps geting better, prvate ryan doesn;t really. it shoots its bolt rather prematurely - in stunning fashion - but premature in terms of film length.
I would also like to add this is no way reflects my attitude towards teh heroic deeds of those men that saved us from german rule. My great uncle was one.
He didn't come back home.
2p.
I would like to add the lord of the rings trilogy and, as mentioned, H2G2 when I finally see it. they kept the bango tune from the original radio series!!! woohoo!!
