'Sin City' -amazing film, Max Payne lovers enter!

This is one of the best films I've seen in a while, most of it is shot with what is best described as a 'Max Payne' camera, -no bullet time, just the colours and shades used.

Quentin Tarantino did parts of the directing, so you know its gonna be good

It's a great, great movie if you can get over the cheesy monologues.

I saw it in Canada and it's well worth of watch. Easily the best film that I've seen this year so far.

I've not read the graphic novels either but apparently it's a frame-by-frame rendition of them. Very cool.

Its funny how many times I keep seeing the Max Payne reference Check out the old graphic novels and you will find Max payne borrowed from Sin City. I think this is the only movie of the year I actually want to see

It does look cool. Unfortunately I may have to see it on my own, my wife's a total wimp when it comes to screen violence.

I saw it in Canada

It's been out in North America for a couple of weeks now. God knows why it's taking so long to be released over here. There's been posters up for it on the tube for a good few weeks too.

I'll second that, its a damn fine film... graphically not as violent as some I've seen, but then this is a highly stylised violence, so your imagination does a lot of the work... well worth seeing, very much so, yes.
