    kung fo hustle

wow... go see this. right now. thats it, off yer arse, to the cinema. the film is amazing. slow, and overly slapstic at the start, but the fight seens. omg. i'm not normally a fight seen man, but this takes it to the next level.. kung fo + matrix = sex.

I thought it was laughably bad. Just my opinion though. I was waiting for a real deep meaning to it all or something that I WASN'T expecting, but predictable every step of the way - not a huge fan of the over the top CGI fight scenes, even if it was attempting to "take the piss out of the matrix"

Shaolin Soccer + The Matrix Reloaded = Kung Fu Hustle

    Quite amusing.

Amusing film - definitely not one to be taken seriously - more like a light slapstick comedy rather than anything serious. Thouht it was pretty entertaining though.

I saw this a while back when it released in HK, I thought it was really bad.
Didn't think much of Shaolin Soccer either. Don't generally like those kinda film. Same goes for Crouching Tiger and stuff. I just don't think the special effects are that special.

Is the version released here dubbed over in english or subtitled?

I quite liked Shaolin Soccer, so I'll probably take a look at this at some point.

I've just watched it, and I must admit that I much preferred Shaolin Soccer. Kung Fu Hustle was good, but that's all (whereas I really liked Shaolin Soccer).
