Guys have any of you seen the war of the worlds theatrical trailer? well what is the backround music to it? You get the same music in alot of trailers and id love to knwo what it is! you get similar music in lord of the rings and other action films like this.

From what i had heard they were using the original music from the album way back and just jazzing it up for todays market in the movie. I will have to have a look at the trailer to see what the music is, will geet back to you.
I am dubious about this movie, yet another remake really and its been stripped of its original setting and plonked in the states :/

I saw the trailer for the new film. And it didnt feature the amazing orginal theme music. I was not impressed. It better be in there somewhere...
Twig, listening to the soundtrack samples on the official site. Not one single bit of the original score is in this movie :/ yet again american film studio's destroy an english classic. Next one I am dreading, King Kong, hollywood is now out of idea's so they are remaking everything again.
Are you sure you mean the 'original score'? The 'Dum-Dum-Duuuhhm' music that everyone knows is the beginning of Jeff Wayne's concept album, it was never a film soundtrack.
