Go and see this film, a brilliant story, really well cast, brilliantly shot and directed.
I was going to see The Island, and I'm so glad I didn't.
Edit: Very well soundtracked too. The final song fits so well.

I don't understand. Did they remake the original (which was perfectly good in it's own right)?
Are you talking about the 1996 Crash? The only thing these films have in common is the name.
Things like that confuse someone like me very easily. Thanks for clearing it up chap, I'll see it as soon as the new film rush calms down and there aren't so many munchers in the cinema.![]()
i'm going to watch this film, its been critisised for attempting to make racism too simple.
but it certainly looks interesting.
Ah tell me about it man, there were a group of about 8 in there when I went who paid £6.50 per ticket to be there, only to use it as an oppertunity to text people and talk on their phone :/Originally Posted by Theo
I must second Caged - this truly is the best film so far this year. Loved it!
Emzay ... it's about racial tensions in LA, but supposed to be very edgy, funny, and immensely well written. I think I'll wait till it comes out on DVD though. No time for going to the movies right now.

Awesome movie - you really should see this movie if you in anyway appreciate a decent story over random stunts and CGI.
It's a multi-threaded story line that deals with racism in modern day society in LA. Really is a fantastic wee movie![]()
Directed by Paul Haggis, this is one of his first efforts on the big screen with the other being one of the screenplay writers for Million Dollar Baby so that should give you an idea of his short but so far excellent pedigree outside of television.
Top film. Great acting, plot, tension etc.
Watched it this afternoon - enjoyed it a lot.
it makes a change to see a film thats not a remake , or based on a comic![]()

saw it last night but a bit puzzled why it was in the deluxe screen (£1 more for proper seats, bar and leg room) seeing as there were about 8 people and it has been out for quite a while. was intersting to see that genre getting such a widespread audience but has some serious flaws like the script. dealing form racism from a white point of view is very interesting and a brave thing to do but i think this is why its not going to be that successful.
seen it also, good movie but seen movies like this before. watch american history x has a side reminder
