Watched this at the weekend and thought it was amazing.....doesn't make much sense unless you know your FF7 but tbh i think it's worth watching for the fight scenes, the CGI is far better than anything Disney can do :)

Yea I thought it was really, really good, which was a plus since the first Final Fantasy movie was kind of a flop. The fight scenes are incredible, and as said, worth it for that alone... had a lot of elegant things to it too, and I thought Clouds bike is the coolest thing ever, lol

Yeah, am going to watch it sometime soon too - shame I can't remember FF7 that well though. Been looking for a plot recap online but haven't had much luck so far.

This film was also good but in a different way - more cartoony, It really reminded me of the game.

It hasn't and won't be for a while as it hasn't even been dubbed yet.

Unless people have watched a legal Japanese copy imported into the UK, and are fluent in Japanese, I'd say this was dodgy, so I'll close it for now.
