Yeah, you do, that was my sly way of mentioning them
I actually assumed the thread would be about them, till I came in.
/me gives directhex 3 points.
Just watched live & let die and they showed a jazz funeral in it. Not really into jazz(but got nothing against it at same time) but it sounded cool.
Would not want a depressing song. Would want an upbeat song so one to celebrate me rather than mourn(keep thinking of insomnia because of the line "I can't get no sleep").
May also pick a really dodgy song just for a laugh(can you imagine being at a funeral and hearing the birdie song!).
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
second the insomnia one. Great tune, reminds me of some good times...
Dave
Well, that depends on what style I went out in![]()
If it was in a blaze of glory then that song from the End of days sound track Something about a man with a son who bought him a gun....![]()
Slipknot - Vermilion, would reflect my life perfectly, overtly good with numerous subliminal meanings...![]()

I actually would aswell.
I'd have to have something a bit jaunty, but at the same time wistful. Off the top of my head, that would mean something like:
Always On My Mind - Pet Shop Boys
Take A Chance On Me - Abba
Or...TBH...The Boxer - Simon and Garfunkle
Jaunty and yet ever so slightly campOriginally Posted by Rave

I'm not having a funeral - I'll hold a warehouse rave in my honour instead to celebrate my life not mourn that I've been turned into maggot food![]()
Don't Cry (Alt. Lyrics) - Guns n Roses
and
Freebird - Lynard Skynard.
Damn it'd be a long funeral.
Exit music for a film.

Your Lucky Day In Hell by Eels would be good.
Our Farewell - Within Temptation
