Matrix number 3, second one was pretty good, 3rd just a lot dissapointing.
Dont know if it really counts, but the last series of red dwarf was pretty dire compared to the early stuff.

Actually.... in FACT all sequels are dire apart from the 1 exception to this rule which is ALIENS ( the only 1 to break the mould and be better than the first )
Matrix 3 easily. Complete load of tosh. Wish they'd left it at 1 frankly.

I dont know, the big trilogies are generally better in the second film (lotr, starwars (originals not new ones, although you cant say attack of the clones wasnt better than phantom menace) back to the future)

Exactly my thoughts!.. They seemed to have been making up the endings as they went along, the stories seemed to just get worse. The first was definately the best!.. The whole concept is awesome, but the way they portrayed the story in the second and third didn't come across very well (or should I say rather, "as well...").
