    May have already been mentioned, but;

    Bent
    Lemon Jelly
    The Orb

Specfic songs (not sure if the artist always does music like it):
Kinobe - Slip into Something More Comfortable
Andrew Bernstein - Any Other Name (From `American Beauty`)
Josh Rouse - Sparrows Over Birmingham (quality song, heard it watching 'The Girl Next Door' last night. Real nice, try and check it out)

That's me done for now. Sweet dreaming. Heh.

Good on TheAnimus for recommending MONO, bad on you for 90% of the other bands, yo!

There are two different Mono bands - one Japanese instrumental band (amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing on record and even more live), and a British duet who are ho-hum alright. Both are worth a listen, but if you buy anything.. get One More Step And You Die. It's part of my going-to-bed routine.

Craig Armstrong - The Space Between Us, As If To Nothing, Film Works
    Archive - Take My Head
    Alpha - Come From Heaven
Massive Attack - Blue Lines, Protection... everything
Beth Orton - Central Reservation or Trailer Park
maybe Feist - Let it Die

    From the ones mentioned before:
Pink Floyd - Definately ! (Wish You were Here, Dark Side of the Moon, Pulse... etc etc)
    Morcheeba - Big Calm
    Air - Moon Safari
    Portishead

IMO Best Ibiza Chill CDs are:

One of my all time favourite tunes. Pure genius. Especially when a certain mate of mine starts doing his crazy dance to it at 7 in the morning on my lawn. But that's another storey

Lots of Recommended Dance/ambient/chill out, Definate Nod to PINK FLOYD try Early Albums like Piper at the gates of dawn excellent 'trippy' chill out, bit like Seargent Peppers lonely Hearts Club Band.
Also a bit of quality Acoustic is: Nirvana Unplugged - Simply Sublime, Portishead - Live at NYC, and for something more recent try the Magic Numbers

AIM, i cant believe they've not been mentioned, absolutely fantastic for this genre. the albums are called 'cold water music', 'hinterland' and 'means of production' all fit perfectly.

another vote for zero7, air, lemon jelly and massive attack here too. check out mazzy star for gentle guitar and beautiful soft vocals.

if you can find it greyboy is a goodun.

most of the 'anotherlatenight' or 'latenighttales' series are great. faithless' take in the 'back to mine' series is an incredible chilled cd.

No one has mentioned the stonebridge album can't get enough! Its an awesome album with some really uplifting songs on it Also melody am by royksopp has some classics, poor leno, remind me and so easy are my favs. There new album the understanding is more vocal music. I'd recommend 49 percent and also only this moment. I also recommend the album destroy rock and roll by mylo.
