I saw it this afternoon. Very good film, very dark in places but they've done justice to the book imho. They may have cut out parts of the book, but it doesn't effect the story in any way.
One of the things on my list to do when i get back :)
Just went and saw it, was really impressed, best one of the lot :)
I'm off to watch it tonight, wanted to go to the late showing (over 18 only) so there weren't loads of kids!
I went to the 1.45pm showing, there was quite a few kids watching as well, but was amazed that i didn't notice/hear them during the film. makes a nice change.Quote:

i went to see it last night at the 9.30pm showing...
finished past midnight, so it may be because i was nackered by the end but I can't say i was over impressed with it. All the hype on tv just seemed to make it feel like it would be a lot better.
Oh well, the other three movies were great and I'll probably end up giving this one another chance next week or something, at an earlier and less crowded sitting :p
the films never do the books justice. they had to cut so much out of azkaban that i cant see this fulfilling expectations.
