Bit of an odd post this, but hey ho :D

I just found two demo CDs which I wrote in '98 and '00. At the time I was looking for record deals and basicly got nowhere because my stuff was a bit too 'electronicy' and I didn't know the right people etc..

Anyway I totally forgot about these CDs, hell I don't even remember writing the tunes it was that long ago. A friend who I used to write with asked me to find the CDs out the attic (literally!) to send to him cos he used to like the stuff I wrote.

So I just listened to stuff I wrote just before I packed up writing tunes. And blimey, even if I do say so, I just impressed myself. :cool: It's waaaay ahead of it's time really, kinda fits in with the some dance genres now. But it's like a time warp, and a bit odd listening to such old stuff 6 years on!

Anyone else done something like this? :)

I'm developing a demo CD currently, and since I am planning to persue Music Production/Commercial Music Production I should really make myself a portfolio, so it will probably happen sometime in the future. However, I did stumble across the first thing I've ever made, which was from about 2 years ago, can't believe how poo I was.

Lowe, any chance of letting us hear some of it? Would be insteresting to hear

They are pretty cool. Not much into dance music, but i like that electronica thing. You listened to Luke Slater at all? His freak Funk album isn't too far away from that first track.

the second one sounds like a 45 played at 33 at the start, but as it goes on, it's very cool.
