I thought they had to wait a certain amount of time between jumps?

I *really* shouldn't read this thread, I'm only half way through Season 2

I must admit though, despite initial reservations, I'm really quite enjoying this season

Maybe i should elaborate on that a little.

On the whole, i love it. It did have a few lame 'filler' episides and at times did get a bit overly cheesy, but i think its great and one of the best examples on how to re-do a clasic series from the 70's/80's etc.

But they rushed the last epidode too much. Too much happened to quickly and it was just aimed at making people want to come back next season, rather than just having a great episode.

I meant the last episode of Season 3 (episode 4, the last one to air in America)

I'm lovin what they've done to Tigh. He's got that old man of the sea thing going for him now. Plus he's now going to be more cranky than ever due to certain recent events

And I can't wait to see Baltar squirm some more in front of the whole Fleet

Here here. It was (almost) enough to stop me watching series three (which I'll have to wait for on DVD).

On the whole, I've really enjoyed the depth to the series, but I can't get truly immersed, because of the nagging feeling that "they" are making it up as the go along, and eventually it will come to naught, like so many other series. I'll have invested emotional effort in caring about the characters and wondering what certain plot elements mean, only to find they didn't mean anything.
If someone could convince me that there is the intention to develop a story arc, as was the case with B5, I could REALLY get into BSG...

They are apparently ending it after the next season (s4) so that would imply that they have a story in mind. And judging by the end of S3, they do.

What I don't understand is why he didn't keep the beard, and why he isn't wearing a black leather eye patch? He'd look like a proper space pirate!

Man, I though the ending was an amazing climax to mediocre fourth quarter of the season.

I was loving the whole industrial part of the season, and the insurgency from within the fleet, but the court room thing was a bit boring! I'm trying not to give too much away so being vague.

What an end though! Can't wait for the next series, and I really hope it is not the last one!
