    Battlestar Galactica

    Anyone into this? I have just watched the mini series on DVD and really enjoyed it, but then i loved the orginal (I have sat in the orginal Cylon spaceship used in the 80's show )

    Not sure why they call it a 'mini series', as its a 3 hour long pilot movie. Anyway, got season one on order. Is it worth it?

    It's called a mini-series because it was shown as three separate episodes when it first aired

    The series rocks

    I agree, the second series is awesome, watching it as it airs over here on sky one. I especially liked this weeks episode with the news report at the end of the episode using the original series theme tune.

    That was from the terrible 2nd series in the 80s when most of the original cast had gone on to other things wasnt it. The only good thing about Dr Zee as I think he was called was the episode explaining where he came from that had Starbuck in it.

    How easy would it of been for Starbuck or Apollo to look into the empty shells when they either did the recon or nuked the resurection ship lol...

    There are 12 models but is the "bullet head" one of those 12 or are there 12 human ones?

    yes but its debatable wether the non human models count as one of the twelve? i guess not because thats 5? more we'ed have to add. I have the full first sries and mini on DVD.. it won the time best show of the year for a good reason. The second series keeps getting better and better. I don;t think sky one have done the best job of promoting the series in the UK though.
    BTW there is an sudio commentary podcasts from the producers availible from the US sci-fi website
    AMD3000+ ATIX800XL + GBNF44x mobo.. all at stock because they're good enough atm + CA A1 amp-->Mission 73S Loigtech MX1000 + 1GB ram + 1/3 TB HD array
    Wintendo XP + Linux (when it works) .. just incase you were wondering
