Just listening to some Pantera and I'm almost in tears. Knowing I'll never see him play again or hear anything new from him. Today's gonna be a bad day for me.

almost 3 years since his death, shame he lost his life, thats one truely great guitarist we have lost :(
It amazed me that the guy who did it was a Pantera fan. Of all the people in Pantera to kill, Phil Anselmo would have been my target, as let's face it, in comparison to the rest of the band, he was pretty talentless and a heroin abusing muppet.
More to the point though, killing a member of a band, especially such a driving member as Dimebag, isn't going to prompt a reunion, now is it?
I don't listen to Pantera that much these days (or metal really), but in their heyday they were truly great.
A truly great musician, he was one very few musicians in the industry that was genuinly talented and a fantastic person aswell. It still saddens me today to think about it :(
Saw Down the other night and there was a lot of luv going out to dimebag at the gig
Anyone in this thread who hasn't seen the new dimevision dvd go and grab it now, its an awesome video.
I refuse to buy the two dimebag dvd's on principle. Vinnie said he would never release material to make money of his departed brothers back. 3 months later here is making a profit of dimebags death, what a low sick f@@@ he is......Quote:

As I said above its a release of tour video/home video footage of dime on and off stage, theres another one planned from what I understand.Quote:
