Presently listening to Light Grenades by Incubus. I absolutely love this album!

Also got a bit of metal on the playlist tonight, possibly a bit of Between The Buried And Me for a change!!!

Peaches - I feel cream. Only discovered Peaches by accident a couple of weeks ago. Shockingly brilliant songwriter.

Re: What albums are you listening to at the moment?

I rarely listen to albums I prefer discovering songs through related recommendations or self exploration - in a few cases ( if the song is exceptional ) i will make an exception.. otherwise I like to keep it zen

Re: What albums are you listening to at the moment?

I'm currently listening to The Galilean Satellites by Rosetta. Will likely follow it with another of their albums, Wake/Lift.

I'm firmly in my most recent post-metal/sludge metal/post-hardcore/alternative rock phase.

Tend to go through cycles of heavy stuff followed by mostly progressive house/progressive trance and then back again.

Obzen by Meshuggah. What an album.

Living and dying laughing and crying
Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean

Re: What albums are you listening to at the moment?

Picked up 4 new albums over the weekend, so had all four blasting for most the day:

    Phinehas - The God Machine
Orange Goblin - A Eulogy for the Damned
    Soulfly - Enslaved
    Lamb of God - Resolution

Never head of Phinehas before, someone recommended them to me so got he album on a whim, must say its a good album from start to finish

Resolution is an amazing album. Not a bad track on it. Must have listened to it over 50 times since it came out.

If you are a lamb of god fan check this out from Phinehas:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QAhubCrbBk

Must admit I am digging the album, as for Lamb of Gods latest, it's certainly back on track for them.

Maybe I'm going wrong in the brain somewhere but after a few listens I prefer Wrath over Resolution. Great album, it's a bit like Machine Heads latest though in that I don't think it's grabbed me properly yet.

Mines a role reversal of that, I found Wrath hard to get into.

Having the same issue with Soulfly recently though, last few albums have taken me many listens and months to start to get into the tracks.

I'm always told I'm a bit odd as Sacrament is my #1 Lamb of God album but I do really like them all. They are one of the few bands that I can say, for me, has not made a bad album yet.

Yeah new on the scene apparently, been doing the rounds for a few years as support and this is their first album (apart from the EP)

Also digging Sylosis atm, got all their albums on the mp3 player which seems to get most the train time.

I can't express how much I love Sylosis. I think Josh did an awesome job of the vocals on the latest album. Always a worry when a band loses the main vocalist. They've just released a teaser type vid, entitled Sylosis - III. Hoping it's a new album on way
