Sigur' Ros

Just looking to know has anyoen else been listening to their music?

I have to say that it is bloody excellent :D

I've only listened to the album Tak inspired by the bbc show Blue Planet and the song hoppipolla.

Is thier other albums similar and if so which ones are best?

My fave was their first, but they're all great albums. Singing in a made up language ftw!

Mine too :) AFAIK they released the track names after the album came out apparently.

I've been listening to angels of the universe recently. I would say they are sub mogwai but not by much. I'm also listening to explosions in the sky who are fantasic imo.

Sigur ros are easily one of my favourite bands just now. Amazing music for just chilling out to after a stresful day.

I'm 51 and my youngest son is 22 and is a fan. I sort of get indoctrinated into his music now, the same way he did when he was a toddler. So - I now like Sigur Ros, and he likes Emerson Lake and Palmer and The Nice.

Fair swap I reckon.... :)

I only have ágætis byrjun and von and love these two.
You guys know the other albums? Are they even better?
