    Bulldog BACK under C+W.

Man I really need to look into a propper nice ISP who doesnt change owners every weekend. For those people who are still hooked onto Bulldog Broadband like me, and if you havent already had the letter in the post, it seems Cable and Wireless has bought Bulldog back off Pipex.

    Ahem...one question...

    WHY?!?!?!

Last I checked, C+W didnt stand a chance against Pipexs consumer ratings! I do suspect however that Pipex found the customer base of Bulldog to be a little hardcore...most of us very used to shouting at the call operator and demanding a supervisor almost the instant you get off the 2-hour hold.

FFS.....just wasted 2 hours of my time on the phone to BD yesterday trying to get out of my contract.

Random disconnects (< 5 secs at a time) have plagued me since getting the service 8 months ago, after numerous calls to tech over that time (EVERY single time I got told "We can't do anything unless there is a problem at the time you call us"), I finally called them and told them where they could stuff their service.

Got passed to the correct department to process it (an achievement I am sure they were proud of...) and then get told I would have to pay the remaining 4 months of my contract "because we can fix that"

8 months of phone calls and now they can fix it....

Worst ISP I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with and now.....this

Bulldog made the mistake of taking their customers for granted. -Terrible customer care!, .
