I'm on up to 8meg with Eclipse. I was on Eclipse at home in London but the service was so bad that I'm in the process of switching to Be. Hopefully it will be sorted by the time I get back for Easter :D

The London one is a joke in the evenings.

I'm on Tiscali 2MB, but changing to a 8mbps soon elsewhere.
The test doesn't run at all. It hangs at the stage of "Testing Ping"...

On Bulldog 16mb - but it only connects at 12mb.
Ping and upload are rather impressive, I'm surprised.

now that is the same as what I got before, the first test I did was at a time when tinternet was good, and this one is when it is bad. I just tried to connect to few cod2 servers but I just ping out after 5 secs.
What is going on?

I've had a lot quicker, it appears to be high contention unforunately, as it syncs at 7.5mbit, and usually runs about 6.5mbit :)
Upload looking pretty good though :D
Would be helpful if people posted what connection they are supposed to be on, eg myself:
8mb BT Yahoo ADSLMax - syncs 7.5, runs 6.5 off peak, 2mb peak :(
Edit - and according to the BT Speed Tester:
Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
IP profile for your line is - 7150 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 8128 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 5579 kbps
I'm with BE. I pay £24 a month and it looks as if lots of you are getting a better connection than me :(

Virgin media 10meg, but in June they should be rolling out the 20meg lines and us 10meggers get a free upgrade.

This is a bit better, now the kiddies in the area have gone to bed :)

and the previous result (at peak times) for reference:

Interesting that upload speed hasn't changed, purely download (which suggests its not the likes of BitTorrent that is affecting the contention)
