Not mine, but my dad's - 0.15mb/s down, 0.09mb/s up... Closest server... Islamabad. His 6 month tour in Afghanistan, took him 3 attempts via speed test to get the results. Will try and get a print screen!

You're getting confused between megabytes and megabits.
If you have a Virgin 60mb line for instance, that's 60megabits, so in theory the max download you'll be able to get it 60/8 megabytes
Currently with Virgin, with a 60mb line, and here's a speedtest:
GG Virgin.
800+ ping in games is an interesting experience.
my devices change results on wireless my speed i pay for is always at 75Mbps when my main pc is connected directly by Ethernet to router. this is my google nexus 7 result 1 floor up away from router.

well after 7 yrs and seeing as sky are taking over be* i have change suplier .. due to be put in on the 5th with ee .. 70mb fiber you get a £5 off a month for being a orange customer .. and no fup and trafik managment .. (yeah we will see )...
What does it matter now if men believe or no?
What is to come will come. And soon you too will stand aside,
To murmur in pity that my words were true

To see the wizard one must look behind the curtain ....
im with bethere right now they have sold there company to sky now as they cant get fibre setup they did try for a year but failed at it
im not allowed to post url links as i need 5 post to do that so heres a text based result
13.06Mb/s download - 1.04Mb/s upload - Ping 35ms
soon im moving to sky fibre 40mbit download and 10mbit upload for £20 you can get 80mbit download and 10mbit upload for an extra £10 so double the download speed
I would love to try sky fiber but its not in my area.

If it happens outside of those limits, it's likely another problem, possibly area over-contention.
