I'm thinking of doing a CCNA, however as I'll be funding it myself I need a recommendation of a good training company. Can anyone recommend ones, or recommend ones to avoid?

I did mine home study, then paid for the exams at a local tech college. Worked out cheaper that way, but I had prior knowledge and have been home studying on and off for years. Its harder than you think to study at home and not for everyone.
Have a look round at reputable colleges, there seems to be a lot of very highly priced online courses available so watch out. A mate went with Itec and didn't have any complaints.

I just did my CCNA course at the University of Westminster, was cheap and was a good course.
Avoid companies such as SkillsTrain and Computeach, they are con men,
CCNA is going to be re-named in the summer.
I'm doing mine justnow, as part of my Uni course, so i'm doing it over 4 years - so I think I'll do the exam in two parts, we were told that was an option - it's all really interesting stuff so far and I guess it will continue to be
Luckily for me, isn't costing me anything because its part of the course i'm doing.
What is CCNA being renamed to?

I think its going to be renamed to "discovery".
They are scrapping the ISDN modules and replacing them with wireless technology modules.
