    Any Reason Why?

Tiscali Broadband (at 1.1mbps) keeps disconnecting every minute frequently... random times and constantly at some points...
keeps popping up with the dialup box etc...
its all running default settings but i have set it to reconnect now if the line is dropped....
should i set it for connect automatically?
or should this have to be ticked for default.
thing is it was setup from a previous dialup setup so should i uninstall both and try again fresh?
    doesn't seem the problem...
    help me guys!

Good riddance. Wish I'd done it about a year ago.

i'm with tiscali - are you still using the crappy USB modem they send u?

mine was in bits within seconds, i even went out to PC world to buy a new one (thats how bad it got) but it runs much more stable now

the only issue i have is with MSN - it seems to d/c me pretty frequently, but i'm not sure if thats to do with msn being dump or the connection

setting automatic reconnect should NOT solve the problem, it should "seem" to but with gaps in the data transfer while it reconnects. however if it seems to be going smoothly id just leave it and not touch anything
