O2 Broadband, have you had any trouble?

I've changed back to BT now, and achieved a faultless service now. (On the same hardware, go figure).

Anyone had any trouble with pings, disconnects, and random router crashes and/or 2 minute loss of connections?

Specifically on the O2 Beoadband ADSL1 "Access Packages".

On an O2 LLU package no, never.
I've had cutoffs for planned maintenance or when people are digging up the road nearby etc but always had a text a week before to tell me when I might lose service

    o2 access is notoriously terrible

I have had o2 llu in 3 different places, been good everywhere and customer service is good too.

Re: O2 Broadband, have you had any trouble?

o2 Home Access sucked balls when I had it; Connection speeds were often slower than using WAP. Pings were often in the 200ms+ range to servers I know are a few miles away. Frequent drop outs, total loss of service, router crashes ("turn it upside down Sir").

I make sure I tell them just how bad it is every time they try and sell it to me again.

Re: O2 Broadband, have you had any trouble?

I had LOADS of problems with O2, more so with the router they supplied though, changed that and now my problem is sorted.

Aye, it's the access package that is rubbish... It's basically Be There internet.

Re: O2 Broadband, have you had any trouble?

My speed with O2 is great but reliability isn't amazing. Router needs a reboot every week or so...never sure if its the Netgear DG824G or the broadband though
