    Yes he is... but don't forget VM does not own Telewest/NTL they just "rent" the name.

    Virgin Media is a company that looks all set for takeover. Whether Virgin want to sell it off or not I dont know.

    It's hard to keep up with all these high finance deals, mergers, takeovers etc, so who exactly will own my ass if Im a Vigin Cable customer and this "Carlyle Group" buy Vigin Media

    John Major (yes THAT John Major) was Chairman of the Carlyle Group for some years following his departure from politics.

    Wonder if John Major is still having a "thing" with Edwina Curry ... I would hate to think of my Virgin Media subsciptions being spent on tit-bits for one of John's floozies!
