    Help:Ip routing by ICS

Guys i need some help on the following situation:

I have a network ICS where i get internet via ADSL USB to my main pc which connects to a netgear router by a ethernet card and that routes it to 2 computers by ICS.

    USB ADSL-->Main PC-->Router-->2x Computers with different IP's

Now what i want to do is when i am at another place and i want to connect to a specific computer in my network how do i get my main pc to router it to one of the networked computers after the router?

    E.g.
I want a pc at my mates connecting to my IP address of: 123.456.789.999
to route it to the router and to the IP 192.168.0.4 with the port 23 which belongs to one of the machines on the network.

Buy an ADSL Router, problem solved. Your relying on your main pc, not good, router hardware firewall first, then to pcs.

Then its an easy matter of configuring just the router, which you could also control from your friends house.

thanks for the help but sorted it before i got a chance to check the thread again.

    Heres what i did:

Right click your connection that being shared
    go to properties
    Advance Tab#
    Sharing Settings
    Click Add
Type service name (can be anything)
IP of the computer you want to connect to (192.168.0.x)
External Port=Port your using to connect to the networked machine
Internal Port=Port the program is assigned to

Repeat againe making sure you have one assigned to TCP and another for UDP.

Disconnect from net and disable ethernet and reconnect then reenable ethernet to refresh.

    Oh yes

and here's another good guide to ICS:

    http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/

Pick the tutorial appropriate to your operating system.

One piece of advice - statically assign the IP of the ICS machine to 192.168.0.1 and other hosts to the 192.168.0.x range. That will help solve a lot of grief
