    voip questions

Well, my parents signed with Vontastic (not vontasticcanada) and gave us a locked router, meaning that I can't access the web based utility, I assume that log-in is disabled on my SPA2102-NA Linksys Phone Adapter with Router machine. The ports that eMule uses are blocked by the machine and I can't forward the ports to the router because of what I have said earlier. Is there any solid reason why they would block the ports? (When I tested the ports, TCP is blocked and did not bother testing UDP)

On another note, I am going to have to try to ask how to activate the admin access on the machine so the ports can be unblocked. Although my internet speed are much faster now, but speed is meaningless to me if I can' use eMule.

    Thanks for any input.

    To stop you using Emule?

Some ISP's have in their T&C that you can't use P2P software. You might want to check that just in case.

All is fine now. I forwarded the ports to be opened to my router/phone adapter. All is good. Thanks for the reply, Agent.
