But which one? Looking at the Vigor 2700 but will I need an adsl modem as well?
If so, which one Vigor 100?

Oh yes I do like my 2800![]()
Another vote for the 2800 - even better since I re-flashed it with the latest OS!

I would love one but will the allow IPSEC connections from a 3COM office connect?
Drayteks are fantastic.
Took new one out the box, configured it and got it LAN to LAN connected to another site in under 20 minutes! (proud of myself for getting the lan to lan working first time!)
did you use it as the main router or behind nat on both ends?
2700 one looks interesting. I think it was cheapest of the draytek products when I saw it..
If you don't need adsl2+ then pick up a cheap 2600 off Ebay assuming you don't want wireless.
My 2600G does wireless. The thing is fantastic![]()

I've a 2800 and it's good - not as good as my Ovislink thing was - maybe a few more features - but it doesn't like you doing DNS requests past it - every 1 in 50 fail - so you have to use it as the DNS server and it queries.
I use an Apple Airport Extreme for Wireless and well phone - I've got a sodding amazing land line phone![]()
My Draytek 2800VG is.. mostly good. I'm not too convinced by the wireless compatibility compared to other routers but it's generally solid. There's a lot of tales of woe on the UK Draytek forum too.
dont some drayteks have port throttling so u can allocate connection speed to each PC so ur not affected by them downloading when ur gaming? or am i wrong? Im using the2200USB, yup im old school
