    Faxes

    Im putting this in interent cuz i didn't know where to put it?

    anyway how can i send a fax through a cable modem? is there any software or website to do this?

    You can get programs from people like Symantec(i think) and Equisys (Zetafax) but these cost and are probably a bit overkill unless your planning on having a number of users.

    Theres also the Fax services that you can install with windows (its in XP cuz I just checked but I cant remember what other version have it), and that allows you to send and receive faxes.

    I dont know of any free progs but there may be some. Ultimatley alot of these programs are simply printer drivers that print contents of a document to a fax modem instead of a printer.

    You can't do it over a cable modem unless you get some IP fax site or something. You'll need a standard analogue modem.
