I run Kaspersky IS 7.0 on my laptop running Vista Business, and would recommend it.
The 6 month free trial of it that was recently mentioned in the bargains forum still seems to be available too

I just thought that there were prbably better firewalls available. I do have a router, not sure about inbound ports I will check later at home.

Comodo 3 is OK with Vista; still in beta though.

I'm using Kaspersky 7 too and like it.
I've registered for the 6 month trial several times and they've never sent me anything so either they just hate me or the system's not working very well (people on here have received their keys.)
