Stuck on 512kb / 384kb

The main office and where I have most of my racks has a maximum ADSL speed of 512kb / 384kb. Cable stops about 100meters away and there is no fiber to my building.

I need a much faster speed then 512kb but due to the distance from the exchange that is the max I can get via any provider.

What other options do I have?

The only other option I see is to have a private run of fibre installed and use that. It's sodding expensive though, I think we paid about €20k for the installation. I do have the possibility of getting up 100Mbit bandwidth with just a phone call though.

I doubt we could really justify that at the moment, but it may be our only option.

Its £65 a month and we would need to bond quite a few lines to get any decent speed. Its more upload speed I need to be honest.

BE 24 meg Pro... I will get just over 2meg / 786k from it

Maybe if I get two of these lines and bond them I will be ok.

I am still really stuck here! I wanted to be able to host terminal services from this site for about 10 users but that look like a big no no at the moment

I wonder if Telewest will put the cable in if we pay and what kind of money we are talking about?

you need to look at leased lines or private circuits.
