Print Server for HP Deskjet 895Cse

Does anyone know of a low cost (<$50) print server that WORKs for this printer, and can be plugged into my LAN (RJ45). Wireless is also an option since I have an access point in my router. I have tried Netgear Miniprint PS121 that would not work. I am looking at Buffalo LPV3-U2 but cannot find a list of printers that have been tested. I have purchased a D-Link wireless print server DPR-1260 but this printer is not on the list - I have sent in a query to D-Link. I am open to suggestions.

In case anyone is interested the HP Deskjet 895Cse will NOT work with either the D-Link DPR-1260, OR the NETGEAR miniprint PS121. I finally opened the DPR-1260 thinking it would work, but no. Will return.

What is so different about this particular HP model? Is it a non-standard interface?

Out of interest when you say it doesn't work can you be any more specific? Do you get garbage printouts, does it not detect the printer or is it something else?

Re: Print Server for HP Deskjet 895Cse

Detects the printer (in all three cases, I forget that I had also tried a D-Link wired router with built-in USB print server connection), BUT when the printout comes out it is only a couple of lines on page 1, and then each successive page has a line of garbage, for as many pages as there are lines of print. NO GOOD - must require a special driver that these three print server manufacturers have not picked up (maybe this HP Deskjet 895Cse was a small production run?????)

I have given up and will just continue to use it only from the one PC. I can acess through the network but of course that requires that specific PC to be powered up.
