    'Green' Hosting

I'm working on a local environmental project and was wondering if you know of any decent green hosts in the UK (who may or may not be willing to provide free hosting for this charity)? Cheers.

Dreamhost are in the US but are green

They are also incredibly cheap for what's on offer.

    Re: 'Green' Hosting

I've been with them for 2 or 3 years now, they offer awesome features at a cheap price. The web control panel is an awesome tool compared to others I've used.

Customer support is pretty good, it's via email or tickets, with a status blog to let you know about any issues or status changes to hardware. Phone support is a paid extra which I've never needed

Uptime? Well for $8 a month it's not 100% but I can only remember one or two downtime incidents of a day or so in the whole time I've been with them, which puts it somewhere in the region of 99.9%.

[They have some good offers on at the moment or I can give you a code (affiliate) for $97 off the first year]
