    Costumer Care @ Virgin Sucks!

Decided to go with broadband + telephone with virgin, as there was a nice package involved!

Got the equipment today as promised plug it into the cable socket, and bam the sign on the modem about not being able to sychnonize ah lovely i say. Then i added the cd to install and as expected we are unable to communicate with the gateways.

Called the telephone that was included, blah blah we have no idea call the techs. Called the techs said that the line was not activated yet and gave me another number to phone for manual broadband line activation. Gave them a call, and they said that they had no idea what i was talking about!!! even thought the automated message said select 2 for broadband activation!! then they referred me back at the techs and so on and so forth. Up until now i have absolutely no response what so ever about what is happening or what the problem is.

Tomorrow will send them the cancellation form for a full refund

can you try typing 80.5.178.26 into your address bar?

    & VM don't do costumes ...
If you can stick with it they actually aren't too bad in my experience but yes, sometimes cs is a bit circuitous.

does sound like your line isn't enabled then & you need to speak to broadband tech support on their 0906 no. (you can get the charges refunded if it's their problem not yours)..

Not anymore, now even customers withn a virgin phone line get hit with silly charges, something like 25p a minute and a £1.20 connection charge.

However if the problem is because of them rather than user incompetance they refund the cost.

Re: Costumer Care @ Virgin Sucks!

AM SO IRRITATED! Technicians SAID that they would come yesterday 4 to 7 but NOONE appeared. Although i was home and perhaps i was not able to hear the bell!?!?!? The worst thing is that there are 2 porters on this building and non of the 2 guys saw anyone! and now i have to wait for another week without broadband for them to come because they are buzy!

Today i am canceling their service and they said that their migration systems wont work till the 6 of october. this is saturday!(why did noone allllll these days tell me that???) VIRGIN BYE BYE!
