    Question Spam (& email) Blocking?

I seem to have had a remarkable drop in the amount of email & spam I'm getting since the beginning of the Year.

I am delighted to have lost the spam but a variety of other emails I get regularly have stopped too.
    • my ISP is NTLworld (VM nowadays)
    • my NTL account is affected (& used to have the most spam.)
    • nearly all my various email addresses - including some via my own website and Yahoo - these are affected
    • I retrieve email directly by pop
    • my Gmail address (via a web browser) is unaffected
    • my wife & kids have noticed the same

The short term answer of course is to use Gmail more.
But I sometimes get work via my own website and I need to know if someone / something is affecting email delivery.

Is it just me or is this affecting others?
    Any ideas why?

[Mods - sorry if this is the wrong forum - seemed closest - feel free to move]

    Re: Spam (& email) Blocking?

to close the thread - and explain

I had upgraded my email client - prviously the spamfilter was not at all aggressive - so I auto-deleted all junk.
The spam filter is now much more aggressive - flagged everything, except mails from my personal accounts as spam doh

no conspiracy - no big change...
