    Virgin Media down again?

I've had absolutely no connection all day here in sunny Herts. Wondering if there are widespread problems or is it just me? I can't find anything about an outage on their homepage but maybe I'm not looking in the place.

Sorry if there is already a thread about this, I've searched but am on my phone for obvious reasons so may have missed it.

How are you posting this thread then
On a more serious note - I'm on VM and haven't had any problem today, I'm in the South-West London area.

I've just "upgraded" to VM XL (in Herts) - I am now getting nearly 500k - Saturday it was just over 50k - remember dial-up service anyone?

Though they are not reporting any specific problems in the Herts - they acknowledge the state as red

    Re: Virgin Media down again?

Virgin Media > help > service status > overview is showing red for broadband.

Working fine here in the midlands though.

Like I say, on my phone (and still am) - T-mobile flaky HSDPA >>> Virgin flaky broadband. hhmmm in the absence of widespread outages I think i'll call them tomorrow if it's still out.

@speardane, yep I also upgraded to 'up to 20 Mb' (it's nowhere near) 'unlimited' (again, it's not) recently and i've nevr got above 5Mb...500k is not untypical and it's often 100k. why doesn't OfCOM crack down on these shenanigans? one day, i'm going to flip out and kill them all
