Poor 360 speeds from new router?

Just a bit of a thought, my 360 has been away for repair and whilst it was away installed a new router (Netgearwpn824 v2 108mbs)
The download speeds i get from my wired in pc are very good, but the 360 on the wireless connection seems to be going slower than before on my old belkin.

Is there anything that i can do to speed it up in the settings?
Noticed there was an update for the 360 when i set it up again has that made things slower?
Could it be that the repair guys broke somthing else in the 360? (New main board was fitted though so not sure if it is actually new or just updated the new mainboard and it was the update i had anyway )

Mabee XBL is just slower now after christmas as more people are using it, or am i just really paranoid

Re: Poor 360 speeds from new router?

It seems really strange, i've had it on for a few hours yesterday and today trying to DL turning piont demo and the speed is none existent. Now at 56%
When I do a network test i get connected for everything and NAT open.
    Is it really XBL?

Thanks for the reply, i'll be keeping an eye on it.
Trouble is the only other thing i want to download is conflict denied ops demo, but thats 1.7 gig put me of DL anything for a while.
At least you've eased my mind about a possible botched repair.

Re: Poor 360 speeds from new router?

Live has been shafted for several weeks now, there are major problems with it, but as there's currently an ongoing lawsuit in the US, MS cannot provide updates on the status of the issues to the public domain.

Live has been fine for me since those problems earlier in the year. D/L speeds are the same as ever.

Re: Poor 360 speeds from new router?

Those at my work with 360's are saying the dl speeds slower too, Had to make sure though as it's very worrying when not all is perfect after it comes back from repair.
